James,
Thank you so much for bringing laughter into my life this past Saturday night in Mobile, Alabama. I first became aware of you when I saw your performance on the Dolly Parton Show, back about 1986/87 and have followed your career since then. You are MY ALL TIME FAVORITE comedian. Thanks for making me laugh harder than I ever have before.
God Bless You.
Keith

Good day.

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you what an outstanding show we witnessed last night at the Saenger. The Fab Four were just amazing.

My wife and I have seen them both times they were here before, so we had a pretty good idea of what to expect, so this time, I purchased tickets for my entire family; kids and grandchildren totaling 9 of us. I had been telling them how great these guys were, but last night they were even better than they had been the previous two times, and the guy who portrayed Ed Sullivan, was MUCH more entertaining than ever, and I believe it was because he was given more “air” time.

The entire production was spectacular, and very well choreographed. The slide show just before the guys came on, was very entertaining, and kept you occupied while waiting for the guys to come on.

I sincerely hope you have plans already in the works to bring them back again next year. ( it appeared to be a sellout, so I hope you were pleased with the attendance.)

The entire staff at the Saenger was exceptional, including the lighting, sound, stage –work, ticket office personnel, etc. Thanks to all for a job well done, and hoping to witness it all again next year.

Sincerely,

Chuck and family

I have far too many favorite moments to state just one by itself. I have seen several oustanding concerts through the years - Lindsey Buckingham, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Kris Kristofferson, Lyle Lovett, John Prine, the Beatle Abbey road show, Queensryche, Los Lonely Boys and so many many more.

There have been fun and enjoyable performances like Penn & Teller, The Flying Karamazov Brothers and the Bellydance Superstars. Along with some great plays like The Odd Couple and the Edgar Allen Poe play with John Astin. The summer movie series is always fun too.

The Mobile Symphony has and continues to deliver fabulous concerts. The Yo Yo Ma and Izhtak Perlman concerts were truly memorable and tremendous.

I feel what realy helps make all of the Saenger experiences complete is the fantastic support staff at the theater. Everyone is always friendly and professional which helps make each event special.

I look for to more outstanding events to come.

Thanks as always,
Steve

I'm sure I won't be the first to nominate it, but I offer the Saenger Theatre as what's right on the Gulf Coast. Architecturally beautiful and comfortable, it now has a staff that's been bringing in really good musical acts, something we've needed since the Civic Center dropped the ball years ago. It's a great resource and asset to our area.

Thanks so much for the movie series that ended yesterday. We were able to attend four of the movies and enjoyed all of them. Maybe next year we could see Yul Bryner in The King and I. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed him.

Thanks again for a wonderful summer Sunday afternoon.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show the other night and to let you know that many of the Noonatics have posted on the forum saying that it was one of the best shows (some said the best) that they had ever seen.

They were treated to some things that they had not had before, like seeing
Peter walking down the street and eating at the cafe across the street.

I look forward to attending other events at the Saenger......one of which I hope will once again be Peter.

With regards,

I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of the Saenger staff for the providing such a wonderful venue. My wife and I were at the Peter Noone show and had a great time. The theater is beautiful and so is the staff. We drove in from South Carolina and loved the show and your city. Thanks again for having him in and I hope you will consider having him back.

Hello,

I am writing to thank you for the wonderful experience this past weekend at your beautiful venue.

My sister and I traveled from Washington State to attend the Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone concert and Do (fan gathering).

We have traveled to many states and seen Peter in concert many times, but I must say, your venue is one of our favourites - everyone was so nice. It was one of the best concert experiences to date.

I hope you will consider bring Peter Noone back to your venue. My sister and I would love another excuse to visit your lovely city - and hopefully next time we will have a little more time to explore the area.

I was looking at the "Moments" section of your website. I have some pix I took at the concert and also the one of PN and me taken at the Do - I am considering sending those in to be added to your "fan favorite moments" section - would love to see pix of PN on your website.

Thanks again and hope to see you at another Peter Noone concert soon.

Sincerely,

Official Noonatic (Fan)

To Whom It May Concern:

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know what a great time I had at the Styx concert on January 13. Your establishment is absolutely beautiful! But the real reason we had such a great time was because of your friendly staff and security. I go to A LOT of concerts and most venues take the stance that they need to be rude to people in order to gain their respect and orderliness. Your staff disproved that by letting us know the rules in a kind and positive manner. I can’t speak for everyone, but there were no problems in the area that I was standing. This is a great accomplishment since many shows I go to are ruined by unruly drunks.

Thanks again for showing everyone how it can be done. As long as you keep bringing Styx back, I’ll be making the trip from Memphis, TN to see them at your place.

Have a wonderful day!

Sheryl

I am writing to thank you and all of our friends at the Saenger Theatre for making my little girl’s wedding a fairytale come true.
There are very few things in life that exceed ones expectations, but Melissa's wedding far exceeded anything we ever imagined. It was an unforgettable night.

Thanks Again

With Out A Question, Feb.11, 2005. Alison Krauss And The Union Station. UnLike The Show in 2003 that Seemed A Little Hurried Along, and Kinda Short. In 2005 They Played Everything I Wanted to Hear. No Rush, Very Personable. Talented.. What Else Could Ask For in Such A Wonderful Setting As the Saenger Theatre...

Thank You

My favorite moment at the Saenger was when I was about 9 or 10. My family had to move back home to Mobile from Naples FL because my mom had come down with breast cancer and the docters there were the best. I attended Adillia Williams Elementary, while I was there my class was chosen to be part of a childrens program at the Saenger, The program was I think 2 weeks long and we went 3 times a week and all of us had the chanse to choose what we wanted to do they had art and dance but, the one thing that caught me was the acting class.I learned alot from the teacher, I remember doing a lesson where he had us lay on the floor and close are eyes and he started talking and was describing to us this trip we were going to go on, it was something like in a field and theres a waterfall you can hear in the background. The other lesson I liked was when we had to take an object, mine was a mop, I acted like it was a lady and I was the gentelman, I took her hand and we started to dance. I lo ved beeing there. At the end of the 2 weeks we were going to do a show for anyone who wanted to come but, we had to audition, I had never done this ever. So I tried out for the tiger, I remember the line I had to audition with still, it was \"Ahhh....I am a tiger, look at my wiskers they grow long right and left, why have you bothered me during my sleep.\" WOW!!! can\'t believe I still know it. Anyway I was given the part but I was to nervous to do it in front of people so they gave it to some little girl and I was given the part of the tree. I can remember being up on that stage, Those lights hitting me and just standing there knowing all the history and storys that were told and played out there. That\'s my Memory of the Saenger Theater. THANKS.
